Valene Best (nee Giardinelli) age 68, of Elkins Park died on April 20, 2015. She was the devoted wife of James H. Best. She is also survived by her beloved mother, Josephine Giardinelli, by her loving sons and their spouses: Christian Hassinger and Briana Sprague and Brian Hassinger and Jenae Strader; by her five dear grandchildren and by her brother, Robert Giardinelli. Memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2015, Curtis Hall Arboretum, 1250 Church Road, Wyncote, PA, where relatives and friends will be received from 2:30 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to VESC lend-a-paw Foundation, 301 Veterans Hwy., Levittown, PA 19059.
