Sylvester C. "Sy" Richardson, a resident of Rydal, PA and formerly of Roslyn, PA, died on October 22, 2024. He was 86 years old. He was the beloved husband of the late Rosemarie Nerz Richardson until her passing in 1998.

Born in Philadelphia, Sy was the son of the late Edwin W. Richardson, Sr. and the late Eleanor Chamberlain Richardson.

Sy graduated from Olney High School in 1956. He was employed as a sheet metal worker prior to becoming the manager of Local 194, retiring at the age of 55 in 1993. He was a member of Joseph H. Brown Lodge #751.

He is survived by his son Dean W. Richardson, daughter Donna Lee Paone, son Daniel S. Richardson, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, Helweg & Rowland Funeral Home, 1500 Old York Road, Abington, where relatives and friends will be received from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
