Sandra Marie Christiansen, age 72, a 10-year resident of Dresher, PA and formerly of Hatboro died on August 12, 2015. Born in Abington on December 28, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Elinus Christiansen and the late Ada Marie Eynon Christiansen. Sandra graduated from Cheltenham High School in 1960. For 37-years, Sandra was employed by Upper Moreland School District, where she held many positions throughout her career before retiring as a School Bus Driver in 2013. She is survived by her loving children: David Kearney and his wife, Susan of Philadelphia and Katharine Gray of Jenkintown; by her siblings: David Christiansen and his wife Eva of Forest City, PA and Sally Lauf and her husband, Joseph of West Deptford, New Jersey; by her grandchildren:Lauren, Ethan, Bronwyn, Owen, Maeve, Blaise and by her great –granddaughter, Fiona. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Christiansen and by her great-granddaughter Ace Thora Jones Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, Helweg & Rowland Funeral Home, 1059 Old York Road Abington, where friends will be received from10:00 AM until the time of the service.
