Robert John Cavanaugh, Jr., "Rob" age 31, a resident of Levittown, PA and formerly of the Frankford and Bridesburg sections of Philadelphia died on December 11, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Rob was the beloved son of Kristine Kuruc Hilton and Dan Hilton and the proud and loving father of Robert J. Cavanaugh, III and Madelyn Rose Cavanaugh.

He passed his General Development Education Test in 2008. He was a member of the Laborer's Union and most recently was employeed in the Waste Management Industry.

He was an avid fan of the professional Philadelphia sports teams, especially of the Eagles.

In addition to his parents and children, he is also survived by his loving sisters: Shannon Cavanaugh, Samantha Degerick and her husband Brett, Kaitlyn Cavanaugh and Jessica Hilton; brother, Joey Hilton; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and by his father, Robert J. Cavanaugh, Sr.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 22, 2022, Helweg & Rowland Funeral Home, 1500 Old York Road, Abington, where relatives and friends will be received from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
