Richard S. Harkins, Esquire, age 85, of Rydal Park died on January 8, 2014. He was the son of the late William D. and Edna S. (nee Gallagher) Harkins and the brother of the late William D. Harkins and the late Joyce H. Harvey. He is survived by his nephews, Todd Richard Harvey, Robb Stewart Harvey and by his niece, Kim Harkins Harvey Looney. Prior to retirement, he was a partner of the law firm of Harkins and Harkins. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 11, 2014, St. Mark's Reformed Episcopal Church, 1162 Beverly Road (at Meetinghouse Road) Rydal, PA 19046, where friends will be received from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment in Arlington Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Mark's Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
