REINHARD KONRAD NAEGER, age 79, a resident of Huntingdon Valley died on July 10, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Hurt Naeger. Born and educated in Durbach, Germany, he was the son of the late Konrad Naeger and the late Josefine Lauinger Naeger. Mr. Naeger was a mechanical technician and for the past 15-years, had worked for Carousel Gardens in Newtown. In addition to enjoying photography and traveling, Mr. Naeger was a gardener and passionate about orchids. He was a member of the Bucks County Orchid Society for 30 years and was recognized for many of his prize winning orchids. He was a member of St. Albert the Great Church, where he sang in the choir for 35-years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children and their spouses: Dennis R. and Donna M. Naeger and Kirsten J. and Col. Brian J. Reed; by his grandchildren; Kevin M. Naeger, Laura A. Naeger, Stephanie E. Reed, Christopher C. Naeger, Kaelin A. Reed and Brandon J. Reed. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 21, 2012, St. Albert the Great Church, 212 Welsh Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA. Friends will be received, in the church, from 9:30 - 10:20 AM. Burial will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Bucks County Orchid Society, c/o Churchville Nature Center, 501 Churchville Road, PA 18966 will be appreciated.
