Olga Carliss (nee Schweitzer), passed away peacefully on April 11, 2013 at the age of 100 years and 54 days. She was the beloved wife of the late Oswald S. Carliss for 56 years. Olga was the devoted mother of Kent S. Carliss (Lynn), Nina C. Griscom, Lynn C. Erbrick and Glen T. Carliss. She was the loving grandmother of Brett Carliss, Jason Carliss, Sophia Underwood (Brian), Jennifer Erbrick (Robert), Megan Sturm (Jason), Glen Griscom (Tanya), Daniel Griscom, Robyn Carliss, Joshua Pieper, Ursula Rogers (Brendan), Kira Carliss and Tracy Smith (Larry). Olga was the caring great-grandmother of Lance Carliss, Hannah Carliss, Keenan Griscom, Brooke Sturm, Brett Sturm, Megan Smith, Emily Smith and Harley Underwood. Olga dearly loved her extended family's grandchildren; Jessica Mullen, Colby Mullen, Tinette Mullen, Amanda Goodwin (Michael), Gavin Goodwin, Eric Register and Eilee Register. Olga loved traveling with her husband and family and doing various crafts including making pysanky eggs and ceramics. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 654 N. Easton Road, Glenside., PA 19038. Friends will be received after the service. Interment in the Memorial Garden of the church will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to St. Peter's Episcopal Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
