ROSALES Myrtle Helen (nee Shreffler), age 74, of Philadelphia died on August 21, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Luis Rosales. She is also survived by her loving children and their spouses: Thomas and Nancy Alfonse, Kathleen and Kevin Rodgers, John and Sandy Alfonse, Anthony and Patricia Alfonse; by her step-children: Dolores Rosales, Rick Rosales, Debbie Rosales and Anthony Rosales; by 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 3 godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles; by her best friend of many years, Mickie West and by her favorite Aunt Helen. Snookie, as she liked to be called, raised her family in Immaculate Conception Parish, where she worked for many years prior to working at St. Vincent Rectory from where she retired, due to her illness, 2 years ago. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 26, 2016, St. Vincent de Paul Church, 109 E. Price Street, Philadelphia, PA 19144, where relatives and friends will be received from 10:00 until the time of the mass. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Fox Chase Cancer Center, Institutional Advancement Office, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111
