Lorraine Sylvia Lopez, age 80, of Philadelphia died on March 3, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. Smith and the late Laura Bell (Childs) Smith. She was the devoted wife of Howard N. Lopez and is also survived by her cherished children: Catherine E. Lopez, Stephen R. Lopez, Gail L. Richardson and her husband, Gregory, Sharon Lopez Franklin and her husband, Sylvester and Marquietta M. Lopez, by her three dear grandchildren; Janelle Richardson, Cameron Richardson and Jordan Richardson and by her sister, Janice Smith and her partner, Pembroke Kenner. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 12, 2016, Helweg & Rowland Funeral Home, 1059 Old York Road, Abington, where relatives and friends will be received from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
