Laura K. Fisher, age 80, died peacefully on April 17, 2013. She was the devoted wife of the late Dr. Alvin H. Fisher, Jr. She is survived by her five loving children and their spouses, by eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and by several niece and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, April 20, 2013, Baron Rowland Funeral Home, 1059 Old York Road, Abington, where friends will be received from 10:00 until the time of the service. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Old York Road Historical Society, Alverthorpe Manor, 515 Meetinghouse Road, Jenkintown, PA 19046.
