Lai Yung Ming, age 87, a resident of Horsham, PA for the past 13 years and formerly of Philadelphia, PA, died suddenly on June 12, 2024. She was the devoted wife of the late Frank J. Ming.

Born in Canton, China, she was the daughter of the late Jue Young and the late Yut Leong Cheng.

Lai was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked hard her whole life helping to provide for her family. She was immensely proud that her two daughters received their college degrees since she did not have the same opportunities. She always stressed the importance of family and education. Lai was an accomplished Chinese cook and showed her love by making big meals for family and friends. She enjoyed playing the game of mah jong immensely, especially with her grandchildren. Her greatest joy was spending time and making memories with her family.

She is survived by her loving family: children, Marilyn Ming (David Blumenfield) and Carolyn Ming, grandchildren, Ashley Ming Tsung and Joseph Ming Tsung and many, many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be private.
