Joseph Anthony DiLemmo, Jr. "Jay" age 76, of the Somerton section of Philadelphia and formerly of Rydal, PA died on February 26, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 13, 1947, he was the son of the late Joseph Anthony DiLemmo, Sr. and the late Catherine Sarbacher DiLemmo.

Jay graduated from Valley Forge Military Academy in 1966.

He proudly served with the US Army from 1967-1970.

Jay's career as a bartender spanned many years. He worked for various bars and restaurants in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. Jay also worked with the family business, DiLemmo Construction Company.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Mark N. and Claire DiLemmo; sister, Marilyn D. Long; nieces: Mallory, Kaitlyn and Lindsay and nephews: Mark and Nicholas.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 3, 2023, St. Johns Church of Our Saviour, 1309 Welsh Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA, where relatives and friends will be received from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in West Laurel Hill Cemetery.
