John S. Nagel, Sr., age 88, of Meadowbrook, died on March 3, 2016. He was the devoted husband of the late Margaret Pletcher Nagel and the loving father of Linda Forbes, Susan M. Boris and John S. Nagel, Jr. He is also survived by six grandchildren, a great-grandson, two sisters and a brother. Relatives and friends will be received on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Helweg & Rowland Funeral Home, 1059 Old York Road, Abington. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, Holy Nativity Episcopal Church, 205 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, where relatives and friends will be received from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Lawnview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, 160 E. Erie Avenue, Phila., PA 19134.
