Jean C. Pahira, age 95, a resident of Artman Home in Ambler, PA and a former long-time resident of Abington died on December 24, 2018. She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph C. Pahira for 57 years. Born in Jenkintown, PA, Jean was the daughter of the late Joseph Schaller and the late Pauline Gehri Schaller. She graduated from Jenkintown High School in 1941. Jean was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker and grandmother. She enjoyed reading and gardening. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church for 65 years. She is survived by her loving children and their spouses; John J. and Beverly Pahira and Susan P. and John Fithian and by her five dear grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 5, 2019, Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 1500 Marian Road, Abington, where relative and friends will be received from 9:30 AM until the time of the mass. Interment will be in Lawnview Cemetery.
