Jean Stannard Barto, Age 97, a resident of Spring House Estates in Ambler, PA and formerly of New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2023.

She was the devoted wife of her first late husband R. Keene Reed and her second late husband Howard S. Barto.

Jean had many talents and interests including an author of seven books and an artist. Her working career included, art teacher, college registrar, interior designer, real estate agent. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children: Andrew Reed and Laraine Heise; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Jean loved family, friends and animals.

Graveside service will be held privately in George Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org
