James Francis McErlain, Jr., age 89, of Rydal died on February 25, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Freda Gann McErlain. He is also survived by his loving sons and their spouses; James F. III and Melody McErlain, Kenneth McErlain and Robert and Caren McErlain; by three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and by his brother, John "Jack" McErlain. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 1, 2012, Baron Rowland Funeral Home, 1059 Old York Road, Abington, where friends will be received from 10:00 until the time of the service. Burial will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
