Irene Olexy (nee: Sulikoski) of Ardsley was born in 1929 and died Monday May 2, 2016. Born in Kaska, PA, she was the beloved wife to the late Alfred Olexy, daughter of the late Michael and Mary Sulikoski, and sister of Virginia Minakowski, Barbara Sulikoski, and of the late Amelia, Louis, Joseph, August, Alexander and Leroy. Irene was a graduate of Blythe Township High School. She was a factory manager at Alfred Angelo Bridal in Willow Grove. Irene was a hardworking perfectionist with a big heart and was generous with her time and money. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Irene will be sadly missed by her family. Irene is survived by nieces and nephews and their spouses, Bernard (Wendy), Michael (Lisa) and Chris (Lisa) Minakowski, and Joseph (Kay) Sulikoski, Maureen (Dean) Conrad, Christine (Ernesto) Cannuscio, Sharon (Jim) Yeasted, Donna Sulikoski, Diane (David) Rennick, Sandra Peake (Don); along with her 17 great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 11am to 12 noon Monday, May 9, at St. Joseph's Polish National Catholic Church in Middleport, PA and to her funeral Mass immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to St. Joseph's PNCC, 1 Saint Clair Street, Middleport, PA 17953.
