GLORIA ANDERSON WOLFF, age 89, a longtime resident of Jenkintown, died on August 8, 2015. Gloria began her career at Strawbridge & Clothier and became one of their youngest executives as the "Better Dress Buyer". She also met and married her husband during that time. Later in life she worked as a Real Estate Agent which she continued as until she was over age 80. Gloria volunteered for many years, dedicating her time to the historic Powell House in Philadelphia, educating visitors as their tour guide. She was the devoted wife of the late Robert M. Wolff and the loving mother of Elizabeth D. Wolff and the late Robert A. Wolff. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by her daughter-in-law: Amalia Wolff; by her grandsons: Dean Wolff and Alex Wolff; by her sister, Alma Goody, her niece Joan Helgesen, and her wonderful friends. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 27, 2015, Helweg & Rowland Funeral Home, 1059 Old York Road, Abington, PA, where relatives and friends will be received from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. A reception will follow the service. Interment will be private.
