Obituary

Fred Bremier, III of Doylestown passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 11 at the age of 65. Fred was born on May 31, 1951 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Geraldine "Sally" (Kaufman) Bremier and the late Fred Bremier, Jr. He graduated from Abington High school and then attended Lycoming College (1973) and Temple University for his MBA (1980). Starting out in medical sales, he later worked as a financial advisor for over 30 years at Raymond James. Fred was married to Judy Lynn Hendrixson for 21 years. In addition to his wife and his mother, Fred is survived by his daughter Izora "Zoe", by his sisters and their husbands; Margaret "Peggy" and Richard Palmasano of Doylestown and Patricia "Patty" and Josh Brown of Henniker, NH, by his step-mother, Barbara Quitt and by many loving family members. Fred's love of the outdoors and sports led him on many great adventures. He hunted with his Brittanies, worked/ski bummed at Sun Valley in the 70's, and windsurfed in Hawaii, Rehoboth Beach, and Cape Cod in the 80's. It was Judy who introduced Fred to hiking, camping, and white-water canoeing. Canoe-camping was a family activity and, starting at just 6 months, Zoe accompanied them along with their dogs on many excursions. Fred radiated pride in all of his daughter's academic and athletic accomplishments. Tennis was a sport Fred was passionate about and doubles tennis was his event. He played with a group of some of his closest friends for many years. One of their highlights was the annual June Fete Tournament. Fred also excelled at golf. He started as a kid caddy and went on to play competitively in high school and college. Fred's lifelong favorite hobby was finding and restoring cars. He enjoyed mudding with his Land Rover buddies and racing at Limerock.
