Edward Yong Pyo Hong, age 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 11th, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born in Cheongju, South Korea and served in Army and immigrated to the U.S in 1972. Edward and his wife Susan came to U.S and owned grocery stores. After selling his business, he worked for mortgage and cosmetics company. Edward was hardworking and loving parent dedicated to providing for his family and ensuring that his children could have better life and opportunities than what he had. Although he faced many challenges as immigrant, his selflessness, resilience and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his wife Susan and two children: Eugene Hong (Hyun), Amy Hong (David); two grandchildren: Micah and Caleb Hong.

Services will be held privately.
