DOROTHY L. (NATSCHKE) BOESHORE, age 89, a resident of the Rydal Park Retirement Community for the past 20-years and formerly of Jenkintown, Elkins Park and West Philadelphia died on August 2, 2012. She was the devoted wife of the late Carl F. Boeshore for 34 years until his death in 1988. Born in Ashland, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry L. Natschke and the late Minnie L. Krah Natschke. After graduating from Ashland High School in 1941, Dorothy attended the McCann School of Business, in Mahoning City, PA, where she learned secretarial skills and graduated in 1942. In 1952, Dorothy began her career with Fidelity Bank, now Wachovia Bank, in Philadelphia as an Investment Advisor. She retired, in 1986, as Assistant Vice-president of Public Affairs. Dorothy was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Melrose Park for the past 25 years and was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church in Germantown. She was an active volunteer with various groups at Rydal Park. She enjoyed music and the theatre and especially enjoyed collecting stamps, postcards and decorative pigs. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 25, 2012 in the Auditorium of Rydal Park, 1515 The Fairway, Jenkintown, PA. Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill.
