Obituary

Doris Elsie Chism, age 97, a resident of Ann's Choice in Warminster and formerly of Roslyn, died on August 19, 2022. She was the devoted wife of 66 years to the late Raymond Erwin Chism, who preceded her in death in 2008. Born in Philadelphia, Doris was the beloved daughter of the late Harry A. Guyer and the late Augusta (née Kauffman) Guyer. She graduated from Gratz High School in Philadelphia and worked as an administrative assistant at Girard Bank. Doris was also a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Holland, PA. She enjoyed crafting, sit-and-stitch at Ann's Choice, pottery, traveling, and spending time with her family – especially with her great-grandchildren. She is survived by her loving children and their spouses: Nancy Messer of Horsham, and Linda and Charles Bauer of Conway, SC; by 4 grandchildren and their spouses: Jeff and Kathleen Messer, Christopher and Amy Bauer, Jodi and James Katz, and Julianne Bauer; and by 8 great-grandchildren: Joshua Messer, Christopher Bauer, Kaci Tobin, Caroline Katz, Shamus Katz, Scarlett Bauer, Sabrina Bauer, and Lilly Tobin. Graveside service and Interment will be held at 9:00 am on Thursday, September 1, 2022, Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
