Colette Jeanne Train, age 58, of Elkins Park, PA died on May 25, 2017. Although Colette was born in Salinas, California, her heart remained in the desert, having spent her youth in Yuma, Arizona. She was the beloved daughter of Robert C. Train and Nancy L. Train and the beloved niece of Pamela J. Mayfield. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving children; Kevin M. Harrod, Gregory M. Harrod, Amanda C. Orozco, and Madison A. Harrod; by her dear grandchildren: Phillip A. Orozco, Georgia M. Harrod, Gregory A. Harrod, Bentley R. Harrod, Calvin L. Orozco, Landon R. Cornell and Zeeland J. Harrod; by her siblings: Robyn R. Train, Mark C. Train, Pamela M. Krasta and Nicole M. Tiffany. Colette was a cultivator of all things beautiful and was a proud mother, doting grandmother, and self-made business owner. She lived for family tradition, threw the best holiday parties, and was happiest surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 27, 2017, Helweg & Rowland Funeral Home, 1059 Old York Road, Abington, where relatives and friends will be received from 9:30 - 10:30 AM. Interment will be in Ivy Hill Cemetery following the services.
