Barbara Joyce Baur, age 88, a resident of Normandy Farms Estates in Blue Bell and formerly of Ambler, died on May 27, 2017. She was the devoted wife, for 62 years, of the late Philip J. Baur, Jr. She is survived by her loving children and their spouses: Susan B. and Barry Beatty, Sandra B. and William Bixby, Philip J. III and Ann Baur, Peter G. and Lois Baur, Paul D. and Allison Baur, daughter-in-law, Sumila Baur; 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and by her sister, Margaret Stock. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Andrew M. Baur, MD. Memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, June 12, 2017, at Chelten - a church of hope, 1601 N. Limekiln Pike, Dresher, PA, where friends will be received after the service. Interment in Whitemarsh Memorial Park will be private.
